London Urology Associates (LUA) is the private practice of a team of four consultant urologists based at the Princess Grace Hospital in central London. They all have busy NHS practices at various teaching hospitals throughout London.
Each consultant has a different area of expertise allowing us to offer the best advice on any particular clinical problem – for example a patient with a kidney stone is looked after by an expert in stone disease; a patient with prostate cancer is treated by a prostate cancer specialist.
As well as clinical commitments, all of the partners have active research programmes and have between them published more than 300 research papers in scientific journals. They all regularly speak at international urology conferences.
The state of the art facilities at the Princess Grace Hospital enable us to provide the most up to date urological care; we are one of the very few centres in the UK offering non-invasive treatment for prostate cancer ( HIFU ) as well as robotic prostatectomy and hormone therapy. For benign prostate disease, we offer medical management, surgery and green light laser. For kidney stones we can offer extra corporeal shockwave lithotripsy or laser lithotripsy for stone destruction. Our andrologist can provide the very latest treatment for male infertility, sexual dysfunction, penile cancer and Peyronie’s disease. We also offer a 24 hour on-call emergency service and outpatient clinics on most weekdays.
