Mr Dan Wood has an exclusive training in adolescent urology, and deals with a range of conditions including those incidental conditions such as urgency, frequency or burning on passing urine, difficulties with the foreskin or inguinoscrotal work. He also deals with a wide range of complex congenital anomalies including bladder exstrophy, spin bifida, cerebral palsy and posterior urethral valve. He is able to offer a complete range of care from diagnosis and considered conservative management right through to major reconstructive surgery as and where it is required.
Mr Dan Wood is an acknowledged author in his field and has been an invited speaker at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Harvard University in Boston, the Hellenic Urological Association, the British Association of Paediatric Urologists, the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the Renal Association of Great Britain, and the Royal College of Surgeons.
