GreenLight laser is a minimally invasive technique for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). During the procedure prostate tissue is vaporised by a surgical laser, thus clearing any obstruction and resolving symptoms of urinary retention. The operation is usually carried out under a general anaesthetic.
