New technology for minimally invasive kidney surgery

Ken Anson and his colleagues at St George’s Hospital, London, have been investigating the potential of a new advance in ultrasound technology for minimally invasive kidney and urinary tract surgery. They have carried out a study designed to assess whether this new technology can help to improve the accuracy of such surgery and also whether it will facilitate more complex procedures.
